ATC Card Box to hold Artist Trading Cards

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

Recently you may remember I posted a whole bunch of Good Morning Magnolia Easel Stand cards across the world to some of my subscribers.  It was an easel fold Magnolia Lane Card which you may remember from a few weeks ago.  These were made as a swap.

Well I have started to receive some beautiful cards back along with some Artist Trading Cards.  Artist Trading Cards are small cards which measure 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″.  You can make these cards using any products at all and it is to showcase what you love about crafting and is a statement from you.

I had never heard of these cards but if you look on YouTube there are lots of video tutorials that show how you can make them.  I have found since making some of my own that you can use any products you want, any ink mediums you like.  They can be clean and simple or more detailed.  It is up to you.

They are fun to make and to send to other crafters.  They can be so addictive too.  Once you have made one you will want to try different products in your stash to create different looks.

I thought that as I was receiving these from all over the world that I would love a box to hold them in.  This is what I have made.  You will need two pieces of card stock to make it, as I have made it so that it is extremely sturdy as you don’t want these beautiful pieces of art to become “dog eared” at the corners.

It is a simple box and I have used a couple of magnets to hold the lid closed.  It snaps shut beautifully and I love the “click” sound you get when you close it.

So here is my video that shows how to make it.

Happy crafting WITH LOVE from SANDRA xx
