Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
so often I completely forget to make cards for the males in the family. I really do sway towards the girly crafting products, I just can’t help myself. However, when I got my hands on the New 2018 Stampin’ Up Spring/Summer Catalogue and saw the True Gentleman Suite on Pages 44 and 45 it really took my interest.
I do love a Punch and as there is a 10% saving when you buy the Truly Tailored Stamp Set and Tailored Tag Punch as a Bundle (Cat No: 147752) then I knew I had to have it for the males in my life.
The Card I have made with it today uses the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper and I have punched out lots of hexagons using this paper to create my design. I love how easy it was to glue them down to the Night of Navy Card Base. It was so easy and I really ‘dig’ the look. The Stamp Set also incorporates that shape so its a doddle to add these sentiments to the design which I stamped using Tranquil Tide Ink Pad.
I added one of the True Gentleman buttons and threaded some of the Linen Thread through it. These sentiments are perfect for all occasions. I have used the 2 1/4″ Circle Punch along with the New Starburst Punch to layer up the Birthday sentiment.
There is no reason why the Tailored Tag Punch couldn’t be used for all sorts of designs, using ‘girly’ Designer Papers too and I can see it would make a fabulous Gift Box.
