SHADOW CARD using Large Letters!

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

my project today is a Shadow Card made using the Large Letter Dies. Now I am not going to lie, these are not cheap to purchase, but they have lots of possibilities for making cards and gift boxes with any word of your choice, as you get all 26 letters of the alphabet, plus some punctuations as well. I have saved for a long time to purchase these and at the moment feel like stroking them!! No trust me, I have not completely flipped!

I have two very special birthdays in my family this year and couldn’t wait to make one of these shadow cards, which are very popular on Pinterest at the moment. Of course, my card is completely unique in that I had to size it up to fit all my letters on, as well as the numbers. By the way, the numbers are also dies called Large Numbers Framelits which co-ordinates with the Stamp Set called Number of Years. I have also used this Stamp Set to stamp sentiments and flowers on the inside of my card. You must not forget that as its so important for your Card to look as good on the inside as it does on the outside.

I have added an extra flap to the inside of my Card so that I can place money or a gift card, which will sit inside perfectly! A special occasion card also needs some fabulous Designer Paper so I have chosen the gorgeous Painted with Love Speciality DSP which has gold foiling on every single sheet. Don’t take my word for it, check it out in my video attached.

Its easy to place the letters on your DSP and then run them through your Big Shot to cut them out. I used the Foam Adhesive Strips to add dimension and create the shadow effect!! I love them and I know my Sister and Aunt will too.
