Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
my Cards today use the Merry Patterns Stamp Set and I just love the way the candles can be stamped in a group of three. I inked up the photopolymer image that has three candles using Cherry Cobbler/Rich Razzleberry Ink stamped on full strength in the foreground of the group of six. The second Photopolymer Stamp I inked up, then stamped off onto a piece of scrap and stamped the image down for the candles in the background. Clever huh!!
The candle flames are also on one Photopolymer Stamp so you ink it up and stamp straight down. Such a clever idea.
I created a mask for the candles and then used my fern image to stamp the greenery along the bottom of the candles using Garden Green/Old Olive/Lemon Lime Twist Inks. There are 11 images included in this Set, a Reindeer in a Jumper (oh yes, makes me smile every time I look at it).
My Card bases used Rich Razzleberry/Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut at 11 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ which I layered up with a piece of the gorgeous gold foiled Bundle of Love Speciality DSP or a piece of Be Merry DSP cut at 5 1/2″ x 3 7/8″.
I used my Layering Oval Framelits Dies to create the centre images. They look so Christmassy, I am rather chuffed with them.
