Stampin’ Up Embossing Paste meets Colorful Seasons

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

I have recently been investigating the new Stampin’ Up! Embossing Paste (Page 201 of the Stampin’ Up Catalogue) and haven’t been disappointed with the results.

I placed a little paste into a sectioned paint palette and coloured each using my Ink Refills in Soft Suede, Garden Green and Peekaboo Peach.  Using the Pattern Party Decorative Masks that all feature on Page 201 of the Main Stampin’ Up Catalogue, along with the Palette Knives i smeared it across one of the masks under which I had either a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla Cardstock that was held down with a little tape.

The different colours really added a gorgeous textured effect on my Card and I loved it. Once you have removed the masks you need to pop them straight into some soapy water to clean them off, so that the embossing paste does not dry out on them.  You can re-use these plastic decorative masks over and over again.  They are so affordable too which pleases me.

In the video tutorial today I mixed Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz and Pumpkin Pie from Stampin’ Up! Ink Refills with a little of the white embossing paste into three different paint palettes.  Using three pieces of Very Vanilla Cardstock I demonstrate the effects that can be achieved with this technique.

Since making the video I have completed three gorgeous Cards once each had completely dried.  Here are the photos showing each one.

I did cut out the circular one (as mentioned in the video attached) from the Very Vanilla Cardstock and adhered it down onto a circle of Pear Pizzazz Card, under which I placed a Stampin’ Up! Delicate White doily.  The Card Base used was Pumpkin Pie and in the centre I placed one of the Year of Cheer Embellishments onto a piece of 1/8″ Gold Ribbon.  It is so PRETTY!

The brick wall effect one I adhered onto a Rich Razzleberry Card Base and using the Paisleys and Posies Stamp Set to create my design and sentiment.  LOVE IT!

The third Card which featured the diamond shapes I adhered onto a Pear Pizzazz Card Base.  I then used the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set and stamped out the leaves using Pear Pizzazz and Garden Green Inks, with Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry for the flower.  Again, such a pretty Card that really sets off the textured embossing paste.  I hope my blog has inspired your creativity today.  Thanks so much for watching.
