How to make a Sunflower Card

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

As you may remember I made some gorgeous Masculine Cards this week, as well as my Mini Cookie Box using some of the new Products from the Seasonal Catalogue and posted videos on how I made them.  If you have not seen them yet, please check them out on my blog or go to my YouTube Channel under Sandra Ronald.

So I thought I would share with you how I made my Sunflower Card using some Vellum Cardstock as a layer over my Designer Paper.  These Cards are so easy to make.

The Painted Autumn DSP has 6 double sided designs which measure 12 x 12″ making it easy to create Gift Bags and Boxes, as well as Cards.  You also get 12 Sheets in total in the pack.

I used Early Espresso Card for my Card base, layering it up with a piece of Designer Paper and then added a layer of Vellum Cardstock so that you could see the design through it, giving a somewhat smoky appearance, which has the effect of toning down bright colours. (Not that my paper is bright, you understand).

I fussy cut my sunflowers from a piece of the Painted Autumn DSP using some Fast Fuse to stick them down, but any glue is suitable.  I cut a piece of the gorgeous Burlap Ribbon and stuck it down across the centre.  The sentiment which I have placed over the burlap ribbon was stamped using Tangerine Tango Ink and I used the Banner Triple Punch to cut each end.  I added a few of the Metallics Sequin Assortment to add some bling!

Inside my Card I added a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock and stamped the sentiment “Your kindness means so much more than you will ever know” using Early Espresso Ink. A really pretty Card you could send to anyone.  All measurements have been added to the bottom of this blog.

If you would like to make my Mini Cookie Box and the masculine cards I have shared this week all these products can be purchased through my Online Shop.  I would be so grateful for your business.
