Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
I have really enjoyed making projects using the Coffee Cafe Suite of Products, but today I wanted to make something a little different using this Set. So I made a strawberry milk shake and muffin. Well Coffee Houses these days make all sorts of flavoured Coffees and Shakes, don’t they? That was the inspiration for my Cards. They are easy to make too.
I made Birthday Cards as I find them so useful for family and friends Birthdays. For my original Card Bases I used Crumb Cake as this colour always goes so well with any of the other Stampin’ Up Colour Palette.
Then I layered them with Whisper White and a piece of the Coffee Cafe Designer Papers. I have used Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to make my Milk Shake and Muffin and used the co-ordinating dies to cut them out, as demonstrated in the attached video.
I love the little covers I made for them using Vellum Cardstock which I heat embossed using the Versamark Pad and the Stampin’ Up! White Emboss Powder which I heat set with the Heat Tool. They look so sweet and adorable!
As you can see from the photos I made a Z-Fold Card too and added lots of extra embellishments, lace ribbon, corrugated hearts, lace doilies and burlap ribbon, adding some bling with rhinestones! Don’t you just love my straws poking through too, so cute! Please tell me you love them as much as I do.
