Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
Such a pretty handmade Card video tutorial I have for you today which uses one of the Seasonal Layers Framelits Dies to create that GORGEOUS Scalloped Edge on my Card today.
I must admit that I purchased these Dies just because of that ONE DIE. However, once I received them in my package from Stampin’ Up! and saw how many Dies were in this set and their veratility throughout ALL FOUR SEASONS of the YEAR I was very pleased with my purchase.
Anyway, back to my Card. When I designed the Card I wanted to show off that lovely scalloped edge so in order for it to show I scored it differently on my Stampin’ Up! Scoreboard at 3 1/2″, instead of the usual 4 1/8″.
The Card Base uses Tranquil Tide Cardstock cut at 8 1/4″ x 5 5/8″, scored on the long side at 3 1/2″. I layered the front of the Card with a piece of Whisper White measuring 5 3/8 x 3 1/8″ and a piece of the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP cut at 5 1/8″ x 2 1/2″. For the inside of my Card I used a piece of Whisper White Cardstock cut at 5 3/8″ x 4 1/2″.
The Stamping on the right hand side of my Card Insert used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set which co-ordinates with the Happy Birthday Thinlit Die that I have also used, which has fabulous dimension as I have popped it up on a piece of Fun Foam which I die cut using my Big Shot.
As this is a bit tricky I made a video tutorial so you can see how to die cut your scalloped edge and pop up your Happy Birthday die. I am over the moon with how these two Cards turned out. So pretty! I do hope you love them too.
