Handmade Cards using Swirly Bird

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

I love the Swirly Bird Stamp Set due to its versatility to create totally different Cards. My Cards today use the Stamp Set and the Swirly Scribbles Framelits Dies.  Included in the Dies is a long swirly edge perfect for the sides of cards to add dimension as well as colour.  Then the circular swirls of which there are three make the most gorgeous roses.

So my first uses Peekaboo Peach for the base and layered with a piece of Whisper White onto which I have die cut the swirly circles in Whisper White and layered them up onto the card.

Then using the Stamp Set I stamped some flowers and leaves using Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, Melon Mambo and Emerald Envy Ink Pads.  Then I die cut them out using my Big Shot. My sentiment comes from the Friendly Wishes Stamp Set.

My second uses Night of Navy for the Base, layered up with a piece of Whisper White which I have hand stamped using Calypso Coral Ink and the splodgy stamp from this Set.  My Kites were stamped using Night of Navy and Emerald Envy Ink.  The sentiment was taken from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set.  So two completely different Cards from the one Stamp Set.

There is also a cute little bird and some eggs, as well as a little boat with sails.  So many reasons I purchased it for its versatility.

Hope you love my cards too which in fact were CASEd (copy and share everything) from the main Stampin’ Up Catalogue on Page 171.  I loved the design and well done to whoever created them.
