Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
I am sure you won’t be surprised to know that I have had the Bunch of Blossoms Stamp Set with co-ordinating Blossom Builder Punch for some time now and not had time to play with it. So I picked it up and started to stamp all over a sheet of my Stampin’ Up Grid Paper. Its on Page 217 of the Catalogue. There are 100 sheets in the pad which measures 16″ x 10″ (28 x 43 cm). That is how I find my inspiration by just grabbing an ink pad and stamping all over it to see what I can create. This saves wasting so much Card before I get to create my finished design.
So today’s Card is different in that I wanted to use the large leaf, as well as the smaller one on the front of my Card, but of course, this affected my design in that there wasn’t quite enough room for both.
Then I had the idea to score it at the 3 1/2″ mark, instead of the usual 4 1/8″, which achieved the extra I need to use both size leaves. The leaf design down the inside of the card is delightful and I used the three layered technique in this Set with Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green Ink Pads! For those smaller flowers I used Calypso Coral Ink.
I definitely wanted to use that juicy new In Colour, Lemon Lime Twist and added a piece of the Delightful Daisy Designer Paper with the diagonal stripe. I hand stamped the stems and leaves using Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist Inks straight onto the Designer Paper. I also used the Calypso Coral Ink to stamp out 10 petals so I could layer them up to be 3 dimensional, adding a stamped out calyx using Garden Green Ink to each one.
I chose the sentiments from the same Bunch of Blossoms Stamp Set “You Matter” “To Me”. A few Rhinestone Gems finishes it off so beautifully.
