Beautiful You Cards made using DSP scraps

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

I had so many leftover pieces of Designer Series Paper and wondered what I could make with them.  As I was browsing through my Stampin’ Up! Catalogue I noticed some Cards on Page 141 with small circles on them.  Ooooohhh, I thought what a great idea.

So after having a play with my 1 1/2″ Circle Punch before long I had created a design that would work.  I used some pieces I had over from the Whole Lot of Lovely and the Delightful Daisy DSP and co-ordinated the colours with matching cardstock.  That Basic Black layer definitely adds WOW factor to them.

I first stamped one of the lady images from my Beautiful You Stamp Set onto a piece of Powder Pink Cardstock using Tranquil Tide Ink and punched it out using my 1 1/2″ punch. Then I punched out five more circles using my leftover pieces of DSP.  I arranged them on my Whisper White Cardstock so they were equidistant apart and then stamped my “Happy Birthday Gorgeous” sentiment in the space below.

The Card Base is made using a piece of Powder Pink Cardstock, layered up with Basic Black and then the Whisper White.  I also stamped the inside of my Card with the sentiment image “live with passion, laugh out loud and love deeply” using Tranquil Tide Ink and layered it up on a piece of Basic Black.  Very pretty Cards and I love that I have used up some of my DSP scraps.  Great idea!  Hope you love them too.
