Handmade Pill/Pound Coin Box for your Handbag

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

in the Spring I always love to use a different handbag so obviously transfer all my goodies from one bag to the other.  In the bottom of my bag were all these Paracetamol which were driving me mad all loose in there.  Have you ever been frustrated by this?  Well, this lead me to think I could create a perfect little Box to hold my tablets, as ladies always love to have these things on hand!  That is how my cute little Box came about.

It is a perfect size in my handbag and I know exactly where they are when I need them.  Of course, now we have the new Pound Coins in the U.K. and we have to spend the old ones before October, (which is no trouble for me!!!) what better than a Box to put them into.  Fab!!!!

I have made a video and I hope you will find them useful too and have a go at making one or two.  You can make TWO of them from ONE SHEET of A4 Cardstock and it is a great way to use up your Designer Paper Scraps.

I made four of these Boxes so I could keep two in my handbag and give the other two to my friends. They work so well. There is no reason why you couldn’t fit a couple of Ferrero Rocher chocolates inside as a table favour, great idea for a Wedding, just change up the colours!!!!

I used Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron and Watermelon Wonder to make my Boxes and decorated them with either the Floral Boutique or Affectionately Yours Speciality Designer Papers.  I am really pleased with them.

Thanks so much for watching, sharing and subscribing.  If you need any Stampin’ Up Crafting Supplies I would so appreciate it if you could order through me, as it really does help me to keep making my videos and I would love to welcome you into my Customer Rewards Club.  There really are so many benefits and you will receive some lovely gifts in the post from me as a thank you at the end of the month.

Hi Sandra, I a so greatful that you show me how to make a box larger or smaller. I have now made one box only 3/4″ high and one like a cube. It is nice to use all the scraps that we have to make them and they can be used for so many purposes. Thank so much and happy easter to you🐣🐥 love Thove x

Hi Thove, lovely to hear from you. I am pleased you are managing to work out some measurements to make Boxes. Yes, it is good to use up your scraps as they do tend to sit in a pile!! Happy Easter to you. My Father was rushed back into Hospital last night so I shall be very busy looking after Mum and visiting Dad so its going to get hectic. Love Sandra xx
