Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
I love the simplicity of the Butterfly Basics Photopolymer Stamp Set. Flowers, foliage and Butterflies are a perfect choice for me. I created a simple and easy water coloured Card using Water Colour Paper and my Aqua Painters. I simple brushed the colour across the paper starting at the bottom with Old Olive Ink, then Watermelon Wonder and finally finished it at the top using Soft Sky. The Soft Sky colour resembles, of course, the sky!
When it was dry I stamped my flower and sentiment images using Old Olive Ink. I stamped both the small and larger butterfly images onto Whisper White Cardstock using Watermelon Wonder and Soft Sky Inks and then punched or die cut them out using my Butterfly Framelits Dies/Bitty Butterfly Punch.
Of course, I didn’t forget to finish off the inside too. A quick and simple Card that looks elegant.
Measurements
Watermelon Wonder Cardstock cut at 11 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ – score on the long side at 5 3/4″ and fold.
Whisper White Cardstock cut at 3 7/8″ x 5 1/2″
Watercolour Card cut at 3 3/4″ x 5 3/8″
Whisper White for the inside sentiment cut at 5 1/2″ x 3 7/8″
