Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
You may remember that I recently made a Reinforced Gift Box for Sietie to hold 10 Cards with Envelopes and my Box had a beautiful Waterlily Flower on the top. I hoped you would all love to see how I made it so I went ahead and made a video for you. You didn’t disappoint me as you all said you would LOVE to see how I made these gorgeous flowers.
They are so easy to make using the Succulent Framelit Dies (which are on the Retiring List now, so don’t hang about if you fancy getting hold of them, link below). You will need to die cut SIX petals from this Set, two large, two medium, and two small. They cut out using the BIG SHOT like an absolute DREAM, which pleases me greatly!
Using your bone folder curl the petals upwards. Once you have done this on all six of them use your sponge daubers to colour the edges of each petal with an ink colour of your choice, covering the front and back of them with the ink.
The centre stamens are made using the fringe scissors as shown in the attached video. They are so easy and look beautiful. You can sit them on a piece of Emerald Envy Cardstock which I have die cut with my Layering Circles Framelits Dies (this is to resemble a lily pad). So pretty! They would look great on Boxes and Gift Bags or even a Card.
