Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
Welcome back to another card in my series of tutorials made using my Big on Birthdays Stamp Set that showcases all the lovely projects I have made. Very soon I hope to be showcasing some boxes and gift bags in the series as well. Getting the most out of my BIG ON BIRTHDAYS Stamp Set.
You may remember I recently spoke about that “dodgy sentiment” that is included in this set but I have found a way I can still make good use of it. I have covered the sentiment with a pretty flower made using the Flower Medallion and Petite Petals Punches. Although I am still left with a curly cue at the bottom left hand corner this is pretty and just looks like part of the border design and not part of the sentiment.
For this Greeting I pulled out my Sahara Sand Cardstock with a piece of Floral Boutique Designer Paper and layered a piece of Whisper White Cardstock on which I stamped the sentiment using Sahara Sand Ink. The flower was punched out using my Night of Navy Cardstock with the Flower Medallion Punch (I punched out two of these) and one of the Petite Petals punched out in Whisper White. I also punched out the little flower for the centre using Night of Navy using the Tree Builder Punch. I then added a sparkly Rhinestone for a bit of bling.
The Bow was made using the Very Vanilla 5/8″ Satin Ribbon which is truly luxurious in quality. A beautiful card that I am very happy with and I am sure you will agree?
Sahara Sand Cardstock cut at 9 1/2 x 5 1/4″ and scored on the long side at 4 3/4″ and folded in half Floral Boutique Designer Paper cut at 3 3/8″ x 3″
Whisper White Cardstock cut at 3 x 2 1/2″
Whisper White Cardstock for inside sentiment cut at 4 3/4 x 4 1/4″
