Easy Saturday #8 – Christmas Wreath Greetings Card

Do you remember me saying the last time I organised my crafting room that I found my brayer which I hadn’t used, well guess what?  I found the Hardwood Stamp too. (Its a big old stamp too!) I had a play, of course, and stamped it on a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock using the same colour ink.  It reminded me of a cottage door which lead me to think about a Christmas Wreath.

I didn’t have a Christmas Wreath Stamp Set though so thought about how I might recreate one.  Well, out came my Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  Perfect I thought.  There is a holly sprig in the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set I have so that is what I used on my card using Whisper White and Real Red Cardstock layered with my Crumb Cake piece representing my door.  I used the Garden Green cardstock on the front of my card for the sentiment and the Regals Enamels Shapes provide my holly berries.  My red poinsetta flowers were created with the Petite Petal Punch.  An ingenious idea, don’t you think?  Here is a close up photo of my wreath.

Sorry to waffle on, but I think the best thing I can do is show you my video and how I made it.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today and Happy Crafting with love from Sandra xx
