Santa’s Sleigh with secret compartment using Stampin’ Up products

When my order of the Santa’s Sleigh with matching framelit dies arrived from Mr Brown I just had to have a play with them.  Well you do, don’t you?  I had to stamp out the sleigh and cut it out using my Big Shot. Then I had one of those light bulb moments and thought I have got to make a 3D Sleigh!  Just had to!

So to get the two pieces of sleigh to join together it needed a box. So that is how it came about that I made my Sleigh with secret compartment.  I am sorry if I sound over excited, but I really can’t wait to share it all with you.  So a video was so necessary.

I show you how I cut out the pieces with my Big Shot, made the tree that stands behind it, the secret compartment of course, and all the other little embellishments.  So darn cute!!!!  I love it!!

How fabulous are these going to look on your Christmas Table?  I also noticed that my sentiment reads “Hope your season brings one good thing on top of another”.  So my chocolate treat on the top of the sleigh and my treats in the secret compartment, okay, so you are going to say “what is wrong with this woman”.  Well I just can’t help it.  I really love this bundle.

So enough already! Here is the video showing you all how I created it using Real Red, Garden Green, foil sheets and Whisper White Cardstock along with Soft Suede, Garden Green and Real Red ink.  I really hope that many of you will have a go at making this and send me some pictures as I would love you to share them with me.

Thank you for stopping by today and a very Happy Christmas Crafting to you all. Sandra x
