Watercolour Wings Card using baby wipe technique made using Stampin’ Up products

I have recently been having a go at the baby wipe technique. Well if you have never heard of this technique before you place two baby wipes in a tray or I have used one of the Stampin’ Up DVD blank cases and using your Stampin’ Up Ink Refill bottles you dot small amounts of ink in different places, using at least three colours. Then you leave it for a couple of minutes to infuse, as they say!

Then you get your stamp on an acrylic block and place it in the ink and stamp onto a piece of cardstock. Easy! Its amazing the different looks you get with every stamp you make. The colours appear in different places every time. I just love it and will be having a go at this with many of my stamp sets.

Today I used the Watercolour Wings Stamp Set and I think its perfect for that butterfly. My card is just 6 x 6″ and I would recommend the Whisper White Thick A4 cardstock for this as the card will stand up well. I have used the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set to stamp the small butterflies all over my card in a random fashion using Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Daffodil Delight which match with the colours I used on the butterfly.

Of course, if you know me by now I never forget to stamp on the inside of my card and I used the baby wipe technique on my sentiment too. Clever huh!

Before you go I have a favour to ask of you. If you could place an order with me to support my blogs and video tutorials, as I am a self-funding Independent UK Stampin’ Up Demonstrator and all these great products have been supplied by me.
