Wild about Flowers using Stampin’ Up! Supplies

I wanted to create a very special card so I would have it to hand when I needed it. The Wild about Flowers Stamp Set has a “cottage feel” to it reminiscent of visiting your Granny on a warm summer’s day and being taken round her garden to look at the lovely flowers.

So that is hopefully what I have created with this very versatile set, which has an added bonus of having sentiments included in the set too! This is a photopolymer stamp set where they have cleverly numbered each stamp so you know what set of flowers layer onto each set of leaves making it very easy to see what you are doing.

This is a large card that uses a whole sheet of A4 Thick Whisper White Cardstock – folded in half. I have topped it with a piece of Rich Razzleberry cardstock that measures 8 x 5 5/8″ (20.3 x 14.3 cm).

I embossed a piece of Wisteria Wonder Cardstock that measures slightly under 8″ x 3″ (20 cm x 7.4 cm) and layered it on to my card.

I stamped a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock measuring 2 1/8″ square (5.4 cm) using the Wild about Flowers Stamp Set and Wild Wasabi and Rich Razzleberry Ink pads. These have been mounted onto Rich Razzleberry Cardstock at 2 1/4″ square (5.8 cm) using some stampin’ dimensionals. The very beautiful Wisteria Wonder Chevron ribbon makes for a very stylish card! I did use the Pictogram Punches Stamp Set to stamp my little hearts on the front of the card.

I did not forget about the inside of the card and cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card at 8 x 5 3/4″ (20.5 x 14.5 cm). The Whisper White Thick Cardstock measures 7 1/4″ x 4 3/4″ (18.5 x 12 cm) and I have used the Project Life Corner Rounder Punch to give beautifully rounded corners. Of course, you have got to finish it off with a bit more stamping too. I love my card and feel it is very special!

Thanks for stopping by today.
