Easter Cards using Metallics Glitter Tape

I wanted to make some Easter Cards using the Oval Framelit Dies as they are obviously egg-shaped. So I cut the shape out of a piece of cardstock and then had one of those “light bulb moments” to use the new glitter tapes, as they are so sparkly and shiny they were perfect for the job. The glitter tapes can be obtained as a free product with a qualifying spend.

I wrapped a piece of glitter tape around my egg shapes and thought it looked stunning so that is how I found the most perfect use for that tape. Well, I have gone completely mad with it and made thirteen cards (a baker’s dozen), not intended as a pun but with Easter and all that (hot cross buns – baker’s dozen). Hope you know what I mean!

My cards use three of the oval dies and my video shows which ones I used to create them. I used the In Colour Collection Brights Designer Series Papers to give my eggs a floral or dotty appearance. I am well pleased with the results. Each one of my cards uses a quarter of a sheet of A4 cardstock, all cut from the Regals Collection, making it easy to buy just one pack of cardstock to make them all, so saving money.

Here is the video showing my beautiful cards. By the way, I forget to mention that my greeting comes from the Stamp Set called “Suite Sayings”.

Thank you for stopping by today and Happy Easter.
