This adorable card was created using the Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set. I absolutely love this Stamp Set as it stamps so beautifully. I have used Chocolate Chip Ink to stamp the flowers as this flower remind me of the plant called “Chocolate Cosmos” and yes, the plant does smell of chocolate! No, I am afraid you cannot eat it! The leaves were stamped in Wild Wasabi Ink and I love the way this card turned out.
I have used the lovely Very Vanilla Cardstock as it complements the Chocolate Chip Ink. Wild Wasabi is my chosen ink colour for the leaves. This card measures 5 6/8″ x 5 6/8″ (14.5 x 14.5 cm). I have layered on top a piece of Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper taken from the Neutrals Colour Collection (138435) an absolute favourite paper stack of mine, as all the neutral colours in this collection are perfect for any card. That measures 5 3/8 x 5 3/8″ (13.5 x 13.5 cm).
I used the Framelits – Ovals Collection (129381) as they are such a great shape for cards. Don’t forget that shape lends itself to Easter cards as well representing an Easter Egg! I stamped the flowers from the Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set (139471) in Chocolate Chip Ink and stamped some onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock so I could cut them out to layer on top for more dimension repeating it for the leaves as well.
