Hello, I am delighted to be joining in with this blog hop and I hope you enjoy my Easter project today.
When I saw this cute little chap in the Spring/Summer Catalogue I just could not resist his lovely little face!
I have made two projects a card and a little bag which I have put some flower seeds in and a small bar of chocolate, (so you could say its a double Lamby!!).
For the card I used a piece of Perfect Plum Cardstock measuring 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ (21 x 15cm) – fold in half and layer a piece of Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper (137784) measuring 5 1/2 x 3 3/4″ (14 x 9.7cm).
Using the Framelits Ovals Collection (129381) I cut out the number 5 size oval using my Big Shot (113439) using Thick Whisper White Cardstock (140490). I stamped the image of the lamb onto it using the Soft Suede Ink Pad and finished him off with a bit of water colouring for the sky using Soft Sky Ink and Wild Wasabi for the grass, with a little bit of Pink Pirouette ink on his cheeks and ears. (So cute!)
I thought the little spring violets from the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper went well with it. The sweet little flowers were created using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack (133787) and added Pearl Basic Jewels in the centre of each one.
For the little bag I also used the same Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and stamped the lamb onto a piece of Thick Whisper White Cardstock (colouring it similarly to my card).
I shall post the tutorial and video on my website for the little bag on Monday, 25th January 2016, so you can see the measurements. This would be an ideal gift to give to a gardening friend for Easter so please come and join me.
