Advent Christmas Poinsettia Wreath

Oh Advent has now arrived. HOORAY!! I just couldn’t wait to show you my Advent Ring. As a City and Guilds Flower Arranger it was only a matter of time before I would create a wreath in card and glimmer paper. Every year it is traditional for me to place a wreath that I have made myself on my front door. I haven’t shown you how to create the whole wreath in my video tutorial as it would take too long to film, but I did use the Leaflets Framelits Dies (138283) and the Sizzix Bigz Die to create the roses and added the Real Red bobble trim (139617). It is well worth taking a look at the Leaflets Framelits Dies as they are useful for projects all year round, not just for autumn! I have produced some stunning Christmas Cards using these dies. You get six dies in the pack so lots of different sized shapes. One of them reminds me of the shape of a holly leaf! I purchased the ring and battery operated lights from Amazon for just a few pounds, so not expensive to make!

Anyway to get back to my tutorial. I have shown you how to make your own poinsettia using the Flower Builder Punch. You can also use the matching Reason for the Season Stamp Set to create the veining on the leaves or use a Stampin Write Brights Collection marker pen (131259) as shown in the video.

I have used a glue gun to put my flower together as I found it gave a bit more depth, but you could easily use the multipurpose liquid glue (also known as Tombow 110755)) if you prefer. These are really fun and easy to make once you get going. They would look great on a gift box, bag or Christmas wreath.

If you buy the Stamp Set and Punch together as a bundle you get 15% off the price too! (Catalogue no: 140847)
So without further ado, please enjoy my video and a very Happy Christmas to you all.

Thankyou
